COMPANY
KOREA PERFORMANCESKoresh Dance Company is traveling to South Korea for the second time!
In late July, the company is performing in both Seoul and Busan at the Korea World Dance Stars Festival 2008, as well as the Busan International Dance Festival.
The company will be in Korea for two weeks.
NEW COMPANY MEMBERS
Koresh Dance Company welcomes two new members for the 2008-09 season: Shannon Bramham and Kyle McHargh.

STRENGTHEN & LENGTHEN
A little bit Pilates, a little bit yoga, a little bit strength training and a lot of fun! Come try out this new class which will help align your body, strengthen your core and lengthen your muscles. Strengthen & Lengthen is especially great for dancers because it compliments the work you do in your daily dance classes and helps to keep your body, healthy, strong and free of injuries. All levels & all ages are welcome.
TEACHER - DEBORAH CROCKER
For nine years Deborah worked as a professional dancer for companies including Donald Byrd the Group, Ballet Hispanico, New York City Opera, Martha Graham Dance II and the National Tour of A Chorus Line. Afterwards, Deborah became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise, and established WORK-IN, an in-home personal training company in New York City. Along with her certifications, Deborah has received specialized training in several areas including post-rehab fitness, Pilates and strength training.

INTERMEDIATE MODERN JAZZ
A fun and challenging class incorporating techniques from classical ballet, Horton, jazz to vinyasa yoga to warm up and strengthen the body. An intricate floor exercise will help develop core strength and coordination. A variety of music including African, Middle Eastern, and electronic is used to assist the versatile movements. A great and fun way to stay in shape and start off the weekend. Dancers with some ballet, modern and jazz background are encouraged, but do not have to be advanced level.
TEACHER - JAE HOON LIM
Jae Hoon Lim (Seoul, South Korea) attended Korea University as a physical education major before moving to the United States in 1995. He danced with San Diego Dance Theatre and then joined Koresh Dance Company for three seasons. He left in 2001 to dance with Shapiro & Smith Dance, Sarasota Ballet of Florida, and River North Chicago Dance Company. Jae Hoon's education includes a BFA in Ballet Performance from The University of the Arts, training at the Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet, and training under the direction of John White and Margarita de Saa at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet. He also taught modern and jazz at schools such as Sarasota Ballet Academy in Florida and Northwestern University in Illinois; he was on the faculty at the Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago. Jae Hoon is excited to have returned to Koresh Dance Company inthe 2007-08 season.
