introduction to ballet with Jess Daley

tuesday 6:00-7:30pm

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! An absolute beginning class that will introduce basic dance vocabulary and emphasize proper posture, muscle development, flexibility, musicality, and grace of movement. Steps are introduced incrementally so that self-esteem and technique develop in a positive atmosphere. This class is highly recommended for first time students and those who are unfamiliar with basic dance technique.

Philadelphia native Jessica Daley began her training at Jason Douglas Dance, continued at The Rock School, and later Alvin Ailey School training under Troy Powell. While earning her BFA at UARTS, Jess received the Promising Artist Award, the Pulawski Award, and the award for Excellence in Modern Performance. In 2001, she joined the 76ers Dance Team and in 2002, she performed with Eleone Dance Theater. Jessica joined Koresh Dance Company in 2004 and danced as a principle member under the direction of Roni Koresh. Currently, Jess performs, choreographs, and guest teaches throughout the Philadelphia and New York area.
