Leo Fogler

Age: 17

Attends: The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA)

Aspiring Career: Anesthesiologist

I started dancing around 2-3 years old and joined Koresh in 2016. I’ve always loved to dance because it lets me express myself in a way that I never could with words. It’s been my biggest outlet for emotions and artistry since I started and I hope to keep it a part of my life even after my final year at Koresh.

Attends: Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy

Aspiring Career: Medicine

I began dancing when I was 3 years old, mainly in Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop, and have been lucky enough to be dancing in the Koresh Youth Ensemble for two years. Dance has always been an important part of my life, with opportunities to grow as a person and express myself authentically. I am grateful for all of my teachers and fellow dancers who have always supported me and made my time at Koresh very special.

Lily Mehta

Age: 17

Attends: William Penn Charter School

Aspiring Career: Work in education

I began dancing when I was 5 years old at the Philadelphia Ballet School. After 10 years, I joined Koresh, and this year, I am a part of the Youth Ensemble! Dance has fostered a home for me where I am confident, passionate, and my most authentic and happiest self. Not only has it given me an ongoing love for the arts, but dance has also allowed me to explore my love for creativity.

Addison Schultz

Age: 16

Attends: Haddon Township High School

Aspiring Career: Physical Therapist

I started dancing when I was three years old, and I have had the pleasure of spending three years of my dance career as a member of the Koresh Youth Ensemble. Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine and has taught me many valuable lessons. It has become an environment where I can be myself, as it nurtures creativity and self-expression. Without dance, I would not be the person I am today. I am forever grateful for my teachers and the people that I have danced alongside, who have inspired me to be the best dancer I can be.
