A fusion of classical Ballet influences to build and enhance technique applicable to all dance styles
Beginner: This class is designed for novice dancers or students who have not danced for many years. We will continue to emphasize proper posture, muscle development, flexibility, musicality, and grace of movement through beginner level combinations. Students are expected to know basic dance vocabulary and have a desire to improve their strength and technique.

Gary W. Jeter II began dancing in 1997 at Pebble Brook High School for the Performing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia, where he graduated in 1999. Gary attended the Alvin Ailey fellowship summer program and received a full director’s scholarship to The University of the Arts, where he graduated in 2003 with a BFA in Dance. After graduation, he was asked to join PHILADANCO!, where he was a principal dancer from 2003 to 2007. Gary has also worked with Fernando Bujones and Eddie Shellman, in addition to dancing with Eleone Dance Theatre. Gary danced with Complexions Contemporary Ballet from 2007 to 2014, and is now an Artist-in-Residence for the company. He has set works for The University of the Arts, Eleone Dance Theatre, Philadelphia Dance Theatre, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Gary has been performing with BalletX since 2014.
Kevan Sullivan (sub)- Kevan grew up in Millford, CT and started his dance training at the age of two. He studied at the Lee Lund Studio of Dance while also traveling to NYC to train. In 2009, Kevan received the Director’s Talent Scholarship awarding him a full tuition scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He was also selected to study at the School of Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Traditions Program in the summer of 2010. Kevan has performed with Alchemy Dance Company as well as Tommie Waheed Evan’s “Waheed Works”. Kevan joined Koresh Dance Company in 2013 and is excited to be part of our teaching staff.
